I chose the article in The New York Times: Students Find Ways to Thwart Facebook Bans by Jennifer Conlin, This article interests me because young students as young as six graders are finding ways to break the blocks on the computers, hacking in to Facebook and not focusing on their academics. No matter how much the school systems band Facebook people will still find a way use it. It only challenges kids to spend their class time, finding proxy sites to get into social networking site.
I think that this is something that every student will eventually do, If i knew how to open Facebook from the blocks on the computers i would. Facebook is addicting to students and i believe that if teachers let us actually use Facebook we would have more interest in class, and might actually do our work.
